Meet Lynn
Lynn is the creative force behind Shine Color Salon. She started her education in the Aveda Network in 1998 and then began working in Chicago. Lynn continued her studies in hair color around the world and passionately shared her knowledge with teams of colorists. In 2006, Lynn was hired as a Hair Color Trainer at a large Aveda salon in Milwaukee, while working with her clients full-time. However, her tight schedule, over-arching sales goals, and mandatory education requirements left her little flexibility and prevented Lynn from providing the level of service her clients deserved. (Lynn also did not enjoy listening to Pop Top 40 all day either!)
After almost a decade as a trainer and color specialist, Lynn knew it was time for her to open her own hair salon, which would give her more control and flexibility. As a salon owner, she would have more independence and be able to track current trends in the industry and fuel her passion for hair color.
In 2015, Shine Salon Tosa began.
Today Lynn has transitioned Shine Salon Tosa into a collaborative workspace for talented, established stylists. Shine Salon Tosa is able to provide custom services for all clients. As a group of independent stylists, the Shine Salon Tosa team inspires one another while enjoying the schedules, education, and products they love — along with great music! Shine Salon Tosa is about energy and creating a space where clients can relax or re-energize. And Lynn has continued to ensure that her business is an inspiring place to work as well as a customer-focused hair salon.
